My name is Austin Ware. I am excited to say that I will be working over the 2017 summer for Dunn & Associates Engineering as the new engineering intern. I am eager to learn from the many experienced engineers who make up this firm, and I am excited to begin performing duties of my own.
I was raised in small town Due West, SC where I attended Dixie High School. There I enjoyed playing baseball and football for the Dixie Hornets, and I spent the majority of my free time hunting and fishing in the woods surrounding our town. I was introduced to the civil engineering field by my father, who is a licensed Professional Engineer himself. He is the one who sparked my interest in the design aspect of civil engineering, and I am happy to now follow in his footsteps. Currently I am a rising sophomore at Clemson University, majoring in Civil Engineering.
I would like thank Mr. Keith Dunn, as I am very grateful for this opportunity he is giving me to work for Dunn & Associates over the next few months. Although I am not yet experienced, I will work my hardest this summer to contribute to this firm in any way I can.
