WATERLINE EXTENSION TO STOLL INDUSTRIES
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Waterline Extension to Stoll Industries project will be received, by Donalds-Due West Water & Sewer Authority, at their office located at 134 N. Main Street, Donalds, South Carolina 29638, until 10:00 AM local time on October 8, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project consists of approximately 1,960 L.F. of 12-inch DIP waterline including a jack and bore under S.C. Hwy 201 and misc. appurtenances that include gate valves, fire hydrants, and installation of an 8-inch fire flow meter pit to serve Stoll Industries.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Dunn & Associates Engineering, Inc., 102 Giles Street, Anderson, SC 29621 - (864) 222-0339 - Contact is Mr. Bill Dunn, Email - bill@dunnengineering.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of [8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except on Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM], and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available via email (as portable document format (PDF) files) are free of charge. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $150.00 per set, payable to “Dunn & Associates Engineering, Inc.”. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
No bid will be considered unless the bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor’s Licensing Law.
Bidders must comply with Executive Order No. 11246 which obligated the Contractors not to discriminate in employment practices.
The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
